I found the boots in question – they are Steve Madden, and the box label says the style is “Hyper.” They are still not available on the DSW website, but when I walked into my local store, there they were! The boots look tan in the picture, but IRL they are light grey suede. I tried them on and they are every bit as pretty as I expected. They are light and delicate enough to go with dresses and skirts, but the suede texture and darker heel help them work well with trousers too.
Once I knew what they were, I went in search of the boots online, but couldn’t find them anywhere. I looked at Zappos, Endless, Piperlime, Steve Madden, even Macys – to no avail. The SA at DSW said this style is flying off the shelves, so if you want to pick up a pair of these for fall, I recommend hitting a DSW fairly soon. They were $73.39 before my $10 coupon.
