Isn’t this adorable? This is the new LV Coeur (heart) coin purse. It’s supposed to be available February 1 – just in time for valentine’s day, of course – but I’ve already seen a few on eBay. The red color is the new vernis “pomme d’amour,” which literally means “apple of love”…depending on your French translation, that’s either candy-apple or tomato. I have also heard people calling it “pomegranate” but I think they are just making that up because the name starts with “pom.” I have seen this color IRL and I think it’s closest to candy-apple red. It is also going to be available in framboise (raspberry-pink!) and perle (pearly white), as well as white monogram multicolore. I don’t think the multi is nearly as cute as the shiny vernis though.
I am not sure, but I think the price will be around $300. I know, it seems like a lot for something so small, but what are ya gonna do? This little cutie measures about 4″x3.5″, and I have no idea how practical this would actually be for holding coins, but with the shiny chain, clippy thing, and its own little dangly charms, it would be the most adorable purse charm evah.
